Hi There!! I am Candace, the life & style blogger behind the ever so fun Big Blue Debutante brand. I’m known for bringing a little class and sass to you each and every day on this little space I like to call my own (and on my Youtube Channel too!) Both spaces were established in 2017, and on both platforms, I share everything from my love of beauty, fashion, business, travel, and all things lifestyle.
Now that all of the fluff is out of the way, the bottom line is that I am still a working professional who is married to the love of my life and best friend. We are both die hard Kentucky Wildcat fans #BBN , and we are both insanely driven and love to live life to the fullest.
I hope to take you all on this journey called life, and if I inspire someone along the way, then it will all have been worth it.

What do you do for a living?
The better question should be what do I NOT do! Ha! Seriously, I am a serial entrepreneur and damn proud of it. My husband and I have crazy big goals in life for ourselves and our entire family, so we are always explore different options to make money, make our money work for us, and truly set ourselves up for success and early retirement. The biggest flex is being able to share the journey with so many other people.
So in addition to us both working corporate jobs where we both serve in leadership roles, we also dabble in real estate and other investment streams. Myself personally, I have a few other side hustles that started out as fun ideas, but have turned into true profitable passions. What camera do you use, and who takes your pictures?
99.9% of the time, I am a one-woman show and I take my own pictures. When I’m taking pictures, I use my Canon 5D Mark IV, a Sony A5000, and my good ole iPhone 12. However, every now and then when I want to get fancy, and when my budget allows, I will hire a professional photographer to help a sistah out!
Why did you start a blog?
I honestly just wanted a space that was completely my own. My thoughts, my space, my style, 100% me. Whether I’m having a good day or a bad day, I wanted a space where I could vent and share. Or if I stumbled across a fabulous new pair of shoes, jeans, makeup brand, or hair product, I wanted a way to be able to share those things with the world so that they too could enjoy them as I do! More importantly, as I grow and my life evolves, I wanted a place I could document it all so that I always had it to look back on.
