Hey Friends! Happy Friday! We made it through another week, and I’m sure we are all looking forward to a peaceful weekend! Speaking of the weekend; last weekend we went to Cincinnati (aka The Queen City) for a concert. But not just any concert…..The Legendz of the Street Tour, with a lineup that checked off all of our faves: Jeezy, T.I., Trina, Gucci Mane, Jada Kiss, Rick Ross, and a few others.

I shared in my stories over on Instagram and Facebook some of our pictures and videos from the concert, and one reoccurring question was about our outfits. So ask, and you shall receive! 🙂

We Love Concerts

Concerts are kind of our thing. My husband and I love music, and we have so many artists that we follow, so naturally concerts are a real treat for us. We usually do 5-6 concerts each year, but this year, we made a plan to do as many as we could. So its mid February, and we already have 7 booked and planned:

those just a few we already have in the books, and if my husband has his way, the fall and winter months will be just as eventful as our spring and summer! ha!

Back to The Queen City

Okay, so back to this past weekends events! This past Saturday, we packed up the car and made the drive to Cincinnati, OH from Louisville, KY. We checked into our hotel, unloaded all of our stuff in the room, and immediately hit up the hotel bar for drinks and appetizers. As we were sitting there doing our normal “people watching,” it was very clear that the majority of the guests checking in were attending the same concert we were. AND particularly, they were there to see Jeezy just like my husband. Everyone was decked out in their chains, snowman hoodies, and fresh Forces!

What was so wild to me is I knew how excited my husband was for this concert, because he asked for a specific outfit to wear. If you know my husband, he HATES spending money except for on vacations and concerts. But to buy a whole new outfit for the occasion, this was definitely not like him. So per usual, I went on the hunt for the exact items he requested:

Snowman Hoodie – HERE

Gucci Sunglasses like Jeezy’s – HERE

Shoes & Hat – he already had these

Once his outfit was complete, I was then on the hunt for me an outfit. I had no idea what I wanted to wear, and I knew this crowd was going to be a whole lot of interesting. So I figured I couldn’t go wrong with leather and sneakers! One thing I’ve learned with concerts……BE COMFORTABLE! So sneakers were a must! I haven’t worn leather in years, but I have seen over the last year or two that its clearly made a come back.

When I tell you that this bodysuit and these leather pants were so comfy! The pants were slightly lined and provided the perfect amount of warmth. So if you’re thinking about getting a pair, DO IT!

I hope you all loved this fashion roundup as much I did, and I hope you have a year full of amazing concerts! Drop down in the comments and let me know what you have planned OR your bucket list artists to see in concert!
