Hey Ya’ll, and hello from Sydney again! We are still here in Sydney Australia and I am soaking up as much of this beautiful summer weather here as possible, as I know the winter weather of Kentucky is rearing it’s ugly head right now! I’m definitely looking forward to getting back home and in my normal routine, but definitely not looking forward to the cold and snow!

Since we’ve been here the weather has been absolutely gorgeous. It’s really hot, but the humidity isn’t that bad. We’ve had few rain showers, but nothing that put a complete damper on any plans. Since we knew Sydney was experiencing their summer, we were sure to pack accordingly, and that just made me so happy! I packed all of my favorite summer pieces, and tried to piece together some fun looks.

Yesterday was a really chill day, and I actually got to go visit my husband at his office and meet some of his coworkers. So trying to find an outfit that I packed that was “office attire” appropriate was a bit of a challenge. I packed a lot of shorts and rompers that are nowhere near office appropriate, so I was so happy when I finally found these white jeans in the bottom of suitcase!

I threw on a classic pair so distressed white jeans, a fun colorful top, and my ever comfy Rothy leopard print shoes, and called it a day! Not only did I feel super stylish, but y’all, I was so comfy!

Top: Floral Peplum | Jeans: Old Navy Rockstar Distressed | Shoes: Rothy Leopard Point

Watch: Apple Series 4 | Bracelet: MK Loop | Necklace: Tory Burch

Earrings: Tory Burch Mono Studs | Sunglasses: Rayban Aviators

The best part about this outfit is that it truly is a good mix of price points. The top = $7, pants = $40, shoes = $150, accessories = between $75-250 (not including the Apple watch). My point is that you do not have to wear all high-end designer items head to toe. I think a healthy mix of price points keep you balanced and grounded, not to mention, it’s not like anyone would know. I mean, if you ask me, my top looks like it cost a lot more than $7!!!! haha!

Well I hope everyone is having a great week and you’re tackling that to-do list for the new year already….I know I sure have! 🙂

xoxo,
