YA’LL!!!!!! When I tell you Boxycharm has out done themselves this month, I truly mean it. I think within the last year and a half of receiving this monthly beauty box subscription, this is by far in my top 3! As I’m sure you can tell already, I have a slight addiction to subscription services, and this particular company is one of my favorites!
For those of you who may not be familiar with Boxycharm, here is the rundown. Each month for just $21, you will receive 4 to 5 FULL-SIZE beauty items (instead of the tiiiiiiny little samples most other beauty subscription services offer) ranging from makeup to skincare, beauty tools to color cosmetics and each box has a value of $100 and up. Brands range from emerging to established, and you’re guaranteed to find a few new favorites in each box. So now that you know how it works, here is what I received in my box this month!
RODEO DRIVE HIGHLIGHTER by OFRA Cosmetics (retail price $35) – “Soak up the summer sun day or night with OFRA’s Rodeo Drive Highlighter! This radiant new product captures the luxury and glamour of the famous street in sunny California.” Ya’ll seriously! This one product alone cost more than the entire box! This highlighter is absolutely amazing. If you are wanting to blind, then this is your best friend right here!
BLEND SQUAD: 3-PIECE CONTOUR BLENDING SPONGES by PUR The Complexion Authority (retail price $36) – “Set of three latex-free and non-allergenic blending sponges. Can be used damp or dry. It’s washable, reusable and odor-free.” I would definitely say these sponges give the original Beauty Blender a run for its money!
CONCEALER PALETTE by Measurable Difference (retail price $19.99) – “Featuring 16 versatile shades, this makeup set works for any skin tone. The creamy, blendable formula melts perfectly into the skin, making any blemish or skin flaw disappear.”
LIP GLOSS by Cargo Cosmetics (retail price $16) – “Super high shine lip gloss delivers intense, lasting color! Creamy, moisturizing formula glides over lips, never feels sticky.” Even though the description claims to be “super high shine,” I personally feel its the complete opposite. This is my least favorite item in this box, only because I can’t tell there this is even anything on my lips (color or shine).
HAIRGURT SMOOTHING YOGURT SHAMPOO by Hairgurt By Project Beauty (retail price $10) – “Wondering when your hair got a mind of its own? Try this creamy, rich shampoo with Yogurt, Prebiotics, Quinoa, 6 Botanical Oils and Bio-Keratin to help tame frizzy dry hair. Free of sulfates, parabens, harsh salt systems, harmful colors and harmful fragrances.”
