Hey Friends! Happy Friday! We’ve made it through another week! YAY! I’m excited for a very chill weekend, with absolutely ZERO plans! So if you don’t see me active on social media like normal, don’t freak out. I’m just taking advantage of some much-needed R&R.

Speaking of What’s Much-Needed

Every year when I am setting resolutions and goals for the next 12 months, somehow, increasing my daily water intake always seems to make it on my list. I know I’m not the only one, but when it comes to drinking water, I never get enough. Actually, nowhere near the amount I know I should each day. But this year, I am committed to sticking to my goal of ensuring I’m getting the necessary water in each day.

How I’m Making it Fun

To help me stick to my goal, I needed to figure out a way to make drinking water…..fun! I know you all are probably going to think I’m a little crazy with these ideas, but just follow me here. Here are the things I’m doing to make drinking water fun:

Cute Cups – Hopefully you haven’t been living under a rock for the last year, and you’ve been on any social media platform. If you have, I’m sure you’ve noticed every woman between the ages of 18 – 60 walking around with one of THESE tumblers strapped to their hands! These tumblers are worth every single penny and worth all the hype. They keep my ice in ice form for 24 hours, my drinks extra cold, and the convenient handle makes taking it on the go a breeze. No excuses not to get my water in when I have a cup I can take everywhere! And it fits perfectly in every cupholder!

Water – Yes, in order to reach your water intake goal, you need to actually drink water. But does the type of water you drink matter? In my opinion no! We are taking baby steps here and just trying to do our best. Therefore, my personal preference is sparkling water. There is just something about the carbonation that just makes it taste better! I don’t even need the flavored water.

I have tried all different types of still and sparkling waters over the years since I was a kid. Voss and Fiji will always be my favorite still waters of choice, but when it comes to sparkling options, I’ve discovered a new favorite. THIS sparkling water is just so crisp, and refreshing. I’m a bit bummed that I discovered it now during these cold winter months, but I’m also looking forward to sipping on a cold glass of this by the pool this summer! That will make for a perfectly relaxing day.

Ice, Ice Baby – I could sit and crunch ice all day long. But not just any ice, only the best. NUGGET ICE! I have been obsessed with nugget ice since I was a kid. During college, there wasn’t a day that went by that I didn’t stop by Sonic just to get a large cup of their nugget ice. There truly isn’t anything better.

Over the last year or two, I had been seeing so many people on social media with their fancy nugget ice makers. I’ve been going back and forth about getting one for the last year or so, and finally a couple of weeks ago, I just went for it. I’ve had THIS particular one for about a week now, and I am absolutely in love. I think just this week alone, I have doubled my water intake goal just from the ice!

The size of the machine is perfect for our bar countertop, and it’s super easy to use. You pour some filtered water in the reservoir, and in about 15 minutes, you have the most amazing nugget ice! Trust me on this one friends, you definitely want one of these!

Let’s See it all in Action

Per usual, you all know I’m a visual person. I like to show you all of my finds and go into a bit more detail about each. So check out the video below and see all of the items I mentioned above, and a little bit more about how and why I’m making drinking my water fun!

Again, happy Friday friends! Drink your water, and mind your business! ha!

P.S. let me know below what your favorite water brand is!
