Hey y’all!! Happy freakin Tuesday! Typically here at TBBD we are dropping our EPIC blog on a Friday… SURPRISE! I had something on my mind to share about and figured I’d push out a nice treat for y’all today 🙂 

This past Friday I shared about some of my all time, absolutely, put on re-order, favorite products and it got me thinking, I just about daily have products and outfits I share on my social that you can shop easily but many aren’t sure exactly how!

This is where LIKEtoKNOW.it comes in! When Instagram began exploding with popularity, this service was launched to make it possible for users to buy merchandise that their favorite Instagram influencers post.

Little ‘ole me applied to be an influencer with LTK and BAM! Here we are! I’ve been able to share my love for fashion and styling with this amazing platform and want to make sure you all know how to use it!

But how does this help you?

Let’s dive in to the ways you can use LTK for shopping, wishlist planning, style inspo and more!

• The first thing you want to do is download the free LTK app. The way it is set up is designed to make YOUR life easier! (I’ll touch more on this later)

• Once you’ve downloaded the app, create your free account so A) you don’t have to keep signing in over and over, the app saves your info so you don’t have to go to the website and log in. and B) all of your favorites are stored with easy access to shop!

• Once you’ve created your account you’ll need to do a quick change to your settings to be sure you’re able to use the “screenshot function.” Go to Menu on the bottom left hand corner, then click settings on the next page, you’ll then click notifications on the menu and turn ON both Screenshot Matches and Product Announcements. This will ensure you’re able to get the updates and functionality of the app.

• Next is the fun part! Whenever you see posts of mine on social media, simply take a screenshot! That screenshot will then send a drop down notification once the screenshot is ready to view in the LTK app! Once it’s ready to view, it will add it to favorites, give you a place to easily shop whatever caught your eye, and give product details! 

• Lastly, when you click on The Big Blue Debutante on LTK, hit that follow button! That way if you saw a post but forgot to screenshot you’ll have easy access to my FULL profile with all of my boards and posts filled with all the things that I love and use/wear on a daily basis!!

Looking presentable is a matter of self-respect.

I may not always be dressed to the nines but working a busy schedule AND doing most of it from home is an easy way to just lay in sloppy clothes all day every day. I truly feel like getting up, getting an exercise in, fueling your body with clean label products and putting yourself together where you’re presentable has helped me in more ways than I can count. It’s all about routine and when you focus on self care through your daily routine it becomes easier to make moves in your career. 

It just so happens being able to share with y’all helps motivate me to keep up with this too!
