Father’s Day Gift Guide

Hey Guys! Father’s Day is just around the corner (Sunday, June 18th), and if you’re anything like me, you always struggle with what to get your “old man!” Well for some reason, this year shopping for my dad will be a lot easier.  My dad turned 60 this past November, and with his older age, he has now turned over a new leaf and has started being more vocal about things he wants and things he would like to do.

So this gift guide started a couple weekends ago when I was face-timing with my brother and his kids, and my dad was there too, and he popped on the screen and saw my husbands sunglasses and made the comment / subtle hint that “those sunglasses sure would be a good gift idea for father’s day!” haha I about died laughing!  My dad is the type that NEVER asks for anything, and you could literally go pick a rock from your backyard, wrap it up and give it to him, and he would think it was the best thing since sliced bread.  So for him to drop his subtle, but not so subtle hint about the sunglasses, that kicked my gears into overdrive and I started to think of other things that my dad may like.

So I put together this little gift guide to help you figure out what to get that special father figure in your life.  Happy Shopping everyone! 🙂

Rayban Classic Black Wayfarers – I think this look absolutely perfect on just about anyone, male or female.  They are very slimming and flattering on the face and the classic looks goes with just about any outfit, whether casual or more dressed up.

Issey Miyake Cologne – This cologne has been one of my absolute favorites for as long as I can remember.  I have purchased this several times over the last ten years for my husband.  This was the only cologne my brother would wear when he was in high school, and I remember loving the scent. So my first gift giving occasion I had with my now husband back when we were just dating, of course the only option was to get him some “Issey” as my brother would say!

Beats by Dr. Dre (Wireless Earbuds) – These are a new staple in my house.  I got my husband Justin a pair a few weeks ago, and he literally does not go anywhere without them.  I figured for my dad, these would be good for him to use while mowing the yard.

Relic Troy Dual Time Men’s Leather Watch – I came across this watch and it just looked like a timeless piece. One that can go with just about anything, not too big, and not flashy.

Tommy Hilfiger Gingham Dress Shirt – I just love gingham print on men. Its slimming and flattering for all. And that fact that is TH, you know the quality is great, and it comes in many color options, as well as fit options.  This is also versatile in the sense that it can be worn in the fall, or in the spring/summer with the sleeves rolled up for that classic preppy look.

Sperry Top Siders – Again, a summer staple that you can’t go without. These shoes are so comfortable and so easy to just slide on and go.  Not to mention they lasts FOREVER!!

Kiehls Men’s Travel Set – Every man needs a travel bag with all of their skincare and shaving essentials ready to go at all times. This little kits has everything your man/dad could need.
